Travel Prelude
In the hush of a northern breeze, I stepped into an early evening of Stockholm’s golden dream, where cobblestones echoed stories and spires pierced the dusk summer sky. Just a breath, a blink, a fleeting day – then I drifted eastward by sea, chasing the fading sun across waters inked in twilight. With each tide, a new tale unfolded: islands whispering peace, medieval towers casting long shadows, and modern cities wrapped in ancient song.
Day 1 & 2

Day 2, 3 & 4
Åland
Morning mist draped the red granite shores as I arrived in Mariehamn, where the air tasted of salt and pine. Time moved gently here – walking past sleepy harbours and wind-bent birches, I paused to pick wild berries and watch the silent dance of sails on the horizon. A museum ship stood frozen in the bay, guarding stories of voyages past, while I strolled through sun-washed streets, feeling like I, too, had dropped anchor in a secret world.

Day 5 & 7
Tallinn
Tallinn rose like a fable from the sea – cobbled streets coiling beneath watchful towers, red roofs stacked like stories. I wandered through the Old Town, where every corner whispered a legend: alchemists, poets, merchants of distant centuries. In the evening, candlelight flickered in a cellar tavern as a violin hummed in the shadows, and I dined as if at a royal table, the air thick with spice, song, and echoes of ages gone by.

Day 6
Helsinki
Helsinki greeted me with Nordic cool – a city poised between design and nature. I spent a morning with sleek lines and glassy calm, sipping coffee in the glow of soft architecture. Trams clicked past market stalls, where berries burst with colour and the sea lapped just beyond. On my second day, I ferried to this Capital, where mossy stones met cannon silence, and I sat on a rampart with the Baltic wind tousling my thoughts. In Helsinki’s stillness, the future and the past seemed to shake hands.
