I created these pages to show how I try to capture candid images of people, lifestyles, urban & city environments in a creative way. I hope, you find the images convey a message, have visual impact, and perhaps even evoke some storytelling ‘what ifs’.

Have you heard about the Street Photography Collective which I set up in 2001 … or was it later? Anyway, colloquially it became know as f-Stop. The idea behind it was to encourage not only my own interests, but also to build a community of like-minded friends and photo enthusiasts who could come together and support each other in their creative work. The Edinburgh Festival is one of the most exciting annual events for any street photographer. The party atmosphere just lends itself to opportunities as you walk around the streets and venues, pubs and cafés. It’s hard to go wrong!
